I think that could get matched, but a $4,000,000 (2nd) probably couldn’t be matched if Calgary bring Johnny and Tkachuk back

None of these trades are happening. Cossa is our future Franchise goalie. We're stacked with quality LD prospects in Edvinsson, Johansson and Wallinder so there's no need to trade for Chychrun.

We're not trading this year's 1st round pick as it'll most likely be a top 10 one. Niederbach is another good young prospect who won't be traded because we're weak with good C prospects.

Rasmussen has taken another step this season and won't be discarded for a 2nd round pick.

Yzerman isn't fast tracking his rebuild for quick fixes. He'll stay the course and continue drafting and developing.

I don't see Yzerman signing any UFA's for big money or long term. Holtby or Husso over Jones at goalie.
