Description
Just having a bit of fun, some deals might be a bit off, maybe way off. Just spitballing what an “aggressive retool” might look like.

This gives Philly cap space to give Sanhiem a raise next year. Truthfully, the word aggressive makes me think there will be overpays this off-season, which is something Philly can’t afford to do, and I really don’t want to move 5 OA but I wouldn’t be shocked because Chuck is Chuck.

  2. 2022 3rd round pick (CAR)
Additional Details:
Apparently they want him (shrugs) he’s a fine winger but way overpaid
MTL
  1. van Riemsdyk, James
Additional Details:
Salary being retained in a 3 team trade.
2.
PHI
  1. Soucy, Carson
Additional Details:
Retaining salary on JVR
SEA
  1. 2022 2nd round pick (EDM)
  2. 2022 3rd round pick (CAR)
  3. 2022 4th round pick (PHI)
3.
CHI
  1. 2022 1st round pick (PHI)
4.
PHI
  1. DeBrusk, Jake
Additional Details:
This is one of those deals that I can see making sense if Jake still wants out of Boston. Jake is a great player, but if he isn’t happy, make the move. TK always played with a bit more Boston style anyway, you know that style. He’d do well there and Boston would love him. Maybe even salary retention? Not sure
BOS
  1. Konecny, Travis
  2. 2023 3rd round pick (FLA)
5.
PHI
  1. 2022 2nd round pick (DET)
  2. 2023 1st round pick (DET)
Additional Details:
Top 10 protected pick
DET
  1. Provorov, Ivan
Additional Details:
Seen a few wings fans interested in him, feel like the return is fair but maybe I’m off. Also think Philly and Det could do something different, like Provorov and Lindbolm for Burt… just spitballing

You’re gonna have to add Brink and York to the first or Brink plus your next two 1sts to the Hawks trade.

Just a few thoughts:
-JVR trade seems pretty weird...don't know why the Habs would do that if they're not sending a bad contract back.
-Whatever
-I wouldn't accept that offer if I was the Hawks. The likelihood of getting anybody that comes anywhere near DubCat at 5OA in this years draft is extremely low.
-Interesting idea.
-Depends on where the Wings see themselves next year, IMO. Tough to imagine them knocking off any of the top 4 in their division, which would leave them on the outside looking in, meaning that's a lotto pick. I'd imagine the deal should be close to equivalent to the Hampus Lindholm trade at the end of the day.

With the amount of talent Detroit have on LD I doubt Yzerman will trade for Provorov. Detroit have eight good to excellent prospects 23 or younger on that position, we'd likely be looking for stopgaps and not expensive players that are impervious to buyouts.

Yeah, I’m not sure why so many wings fans wanted Provy, he can play RD as well, but even then not sure about that

They are just impatient and think adding one dman and signing ridiculous free agents means they will make the playoffs.
