I would just play Addison with Merrill and have Kulikov play as the 7th Dman. Goligoski can sit in the nosebleeds, he’s been a detriment to the team all series and doesn’t do much outside of distribute the puck. If they aren’t gonna play 7D they should sub in Dewar for Duhaime and Bjugstad for Deslauries.

Dewar adds nothing really. He's not good at FOs, more likely to take a penalty, small, has no Playoff experience, and has less o-zone skills than Duhaime. MN has been playing tentative enough. Putting a guy in who has never been in the Playoffs, let alone an elimination game is asking for more of the same.

Kulikov and Goli is a tossup. I went with Goli because it's the call I think the GM/coach would make. I like Kulikov over Goli myself though.

Bjugstad is a better option, and once in awhile shows why he was a 1st round pick. Plus he's a RHS.

Dewar and Duhaime are similar players to me so I’d have no issue throwing Dewar in the lineup over Duhaime. I think Dewar is a lot better at face offs than most give him credit for, he’s a great penalty killer, and will actually try to create offense when he gets the puck. To me Duhaime’s entire game is basically skating around as fast as possible and hitting guys, there isn’t much more to him other than that.

I like what you got here. Big fan of doubling up impact players and finding time to get Kap-Jost-Fiala a look. Jost has been on an island this entire series, but he’s showing flashes that could be unlocked with better players.

Problem is they went 2/2 on PP last game, so now they probably think it’s good.
