Description

Don’t see any team forking over an A prospect for chychrun, so I’ve built a trade around 2 1st rounders plus 2 B prospects. Khudobun and Weber have 0 value and just help Arizona reach the cap floor. Could add the Edmonton second and maybe a late pick or two as well. Tell me how off I am in the comments. Ultimately just wanted to see how the team would look with chychrun as the number 1 defencemen of the future, because drafting a developing a guy can take a few years. Heard the idea from Andrew Berkshire on a podcast I listened to. Don’t ask any questions about goaltending because you know as much about the situation as I do.

I hope we don’t give up a first for Petry. Especially not a 2023 first. I’d already be tilted if we gave a first. I’d be even more tilted if we did it, had a down year, and gave up a top pick (see Seth Jones trade)

Quantity over quality, on top of that you moved 2 cap dumps in the same trade. I’m not an AZ fan and I know they don’t do that, not even close.
