Description

Incredibly disappointing end to the season. I said before the trade deadline to not make a major move because prices were too high and no one available would get you higher odds to get out of the first round. So instead of waiting to sign Lindholm in FA, they gave up a 1st, two 2nds, and a decent prospect just to lose in the 1st round. I know they wanted to go all out for Bergy, but that's poor asset management.
This forum's purpose, however, is to clear some of the dead weight and add some much needed size and strength.

Detroit has no use for a 5'9" LD in Grzelcyk plus we're not surrendering a 2nd round pick for a short term solution. Most of the Detroit Dmen range in height from 6'0" to 6'8"

I didn't think DET was a prefect suitor. But Grz would be a decent option to bridge the gap for the Wings since they're so thin at LD. The pick is in '23 so it's closer to when DET expects to compete for the playoffs.
