I'm honestly quite curious to see what happens with him; on the one hand it's probably a bad contract, on the other hand a team with lots of cap space can easily take that on and get a prospect in return. I don't think it's out of the question, but we'll have to see

Not sure what the rest of these Sabres fans are thinking here but Buffalo definitely considers that trade and probably accepts it. Holmberg is a legit prospect. Its ironic though because Toronto swapped picks with Buffalo to draft him.
