Canucks decline. While a 3rd for Pettersson seems about fair, they don’t need him as LD is their deepest position. Giving up Myers with retention as well without getting a RD back makes no sense for them

There is some speculation the Canucks will move OEL to the right side next year. If that’s the plan, then this type of trade makes sense imo.

Reduce the retention to 1 million and I would probably do it.

Maybe a 4th instead

Easiest no from San Jose in history of “no”s. Retain $15 mil on a great defenseman, give up a 2nd, take back more cap and useless players. Terrible
