Yet again, the zombie Muzzin-to-Los-Angeles pipe dream. The Kings aren't interested in this effort to shed significant cap. There must have been more than a dozen of these Muzzin-back-to-LA trades JUST TODAY.

Absolutely no interest in installing Jake Muzzin 2.0 even if he would waive his NTC, plus we could re-sign Alex Edler for less than Jake's cap hit, and we would probably get the same results without having to expend assets to re-acquire Muzz. I wish that the Toronto guys would stop doing this. It's like the Montreal guys with their silly Jeff-Petry-to-Detroit trades. And the idea that we would give up Matt Roy, for whom we have no internal replacement and is probably worth more than Muzzin right now, in return for Muzzin is just not rational.

For the record, here are the figures for Edler and Muzzin:
Edler, 41 games, 3 goals, 19 points, +18, 52.1 Corsi, 54.4 Fenwick, would not cost more than $3.5 million to sign.
    Muzzin, 47 games, 3 goals, 14 points, -6 , 48.1 Corsi, 47.9 Fenwick, cap hit of $5.625 million.

Ottawa declines, there really is no need for a middle six player as the Sens already have an abundance. There is talk of trading Connor Brown because of the glut of middle six forwards.
