Description

Making Forsberg work is going to be a doozy, even at $9.33 we will have our work cut out for us. It can be done, and we will likely move one of our top-6 players to get it done.

If we don't, it will demand we essentially run the same defense and ask for everyone to come back cheaper (which could happen). But if the Kings get Forsberg, they can't make too many other moves.

We can make it work, but we will be in cap hell going forward.

IMO instead of going for Forsberg we should trade for someone like Konecny, Puljuarvi or Garland

IMO, with the Leafs tricky cap situation, 7m X 2 years Nylander can be had pretty cheap...if little cap is returned to the Leafs.

Lemieux is most definitely coming back.

The third and 4th lines will be:
Iafallo-Byfield-Grundstrom
Lemieux-Lizotte-(Vilardi/Kupari/****emo/etc)

The Kings can't afford both Kempe and Forsberg. If they sign Forsberg, Kempe is getting traded.

I don't think Iafallo is going anywhere. Forsberg doesn't bring to the lineup what Iafallo does.
