Description
Panthers have no picks to trade, how do they fix their team to be able to compete in the postseason? Get rid of most of Bob's contract while he's still moderately tradeable which gives them money to fix their issues and covers Huberdeau extension

What does the return look like? I literally have no idea

P.S. Yes, I know there's like a .0005% chance of Bob waiving for Buffalo. And I know the Sabres fans on here will hate the idea. But please humor me :)
Trades
FLA
Literally no idea what the return would look like, but Buffalo gets a good stop gap goalie, Gudas as a body guard for Power, and Hornqvist retained and flipped gets them a pick for bailing Florida out of most of the atrocious Bob contract
    BUF
    1. Bobrovsky, Sergei ($4,000,000 retained)
    2. Gudas, Radko
    3. Hörnqvist, Patric
    Additional Details:
Florida gets 13 mill in cap space and the extra 6 mill for Huberdeau next year

Sabres can here, love the idea of taking on Bob for assets. But with no 1st until 2025 that becomes a difficult trade to make

I don't hate the idea, I know there's 0% chance he waives for Buffalo lol

Yeah way I see it is he's an asset himself, but not to Florida LOL. So Sabres get Bob basically for free, and Gudas (2nd-3rd round value), and Hornqvist (maybe a 2nd with 50% retained? At least a 3rd). Hornqvist likewise is still a pretty good player, just a brutal cap hit at this stage. Idk if I need much more for the Sabres.

Long-winded way of saying they're not getting traditional assets for a cap dump... but it's almost enough for a reliable goalie

Yeah lol. But imagine if he did. Would you need them to sweeten the pot? Or think they would need something coming back?
