Seriously. Rather just keep Olofsson. Similar production, similar minutes, similar ages.

Also underpaying Olofsson, he more than likely gets 4 - 4.5/yr

Edmonton has no cap space. Otherwise that's a decent offer.

If you assume that Sammy asselin is worth a 4th, then buffalo is trading olofsson and a late first for debrusk and a late 2nd. Of course no.

Quick add- I bet he gets 4.5-5, maybe a bit more if the Sabres wanna throw some cap at their one rfa that's worth something. I wouldn't go much higher than 5 though, if we actually do end up trading him, I don't want his contract getting in the way.
