DeKeyser is cooked (he'll likely retire). No room for Manson. Where's Lindstrom? Edvinsson? No on AA; that ship has sailed. Cossa is not NHL ready. Also, Bertuzzi plays on the top line.

I agree none of this happens. Yzerman has something that not many on CapFriendly have patience.

I feel like most hockey fans that don’t watch the red wings often don’t understand how bad dekeyser is. I think he has a good possibility of not even getting a contract offer this off season from any team let alone $5+ million to resign with us. Plus we have absolutely no room for him imo. Edvinsson should also be looked at for that defense.

I fully agree on all these points. I’ve never seen such a visceral attempt on trying to properly spend the cap that we have this off season. Half of those signings we dont even need and dekeyser making anything more than $1 million is insane In my eyes, lol.
