Add $2M extra in retention and take out Trevor Moore, and LA might consider it.

I'm curious, cause there seems to be a lot of kings fans against taking Muzzin back, as to what the reasoning behind it is. Are you full up on LD, or is there a need that needs filling that I've overlooked.

Retaining 2.5 mil and giving up a second for no return obviously isn't going to happen, but out of curiosity, what need needs filling on the Kings that would relinquish Moore? The guy is 27. Cheap obviously, but not exactly in the Kings cup window I'd imagine?

There are several reasons, which have been discussed to death on here (just look at most of the Toronto ACGMs this past week).

Muzzin would need to waive
Muzzin has injury/concussion history
Muzzin's possession stats and points are on a downward slide
Kings have cheaper options
Toronto needs this more than the Kings, so they hold all the cards
Kings are in on Chychrun and have the assets to get him, which would you rather have?
