Description
Is Drury ready to make the jump to play middle 6 minutes?

I’ve long thought Forsberg was the perfect fit for CAR. Maybe I’m crazy but I think they should sign him and then figure out the cap from there.

If Drury can play middle 6 C then they would have 3 guys that they could move around based on who’s playing the best for lines 2-4.

KK would play 2C and Drury 4C. Tda doesn’t get that much term.

I'd be willing to wager on this. I think he gets exactly 5 years.

You think so? I just don't know what teams would give him that much term w/ his history. Don't get me wrong - he was great for Canes this year and deserves that contract if you solely look at the last year but tough to discount his prior history.

I'll admit I was wrong when we brought him in - I thought it was going to come back to bite us so maybe he's turned over a new leaf and this is the perfect situation for him so he doesn't have any more off-ice issues.
