Foligno and Brodin are both very solid but you can’t seriously think Foligno holds more value than a future top pair d man + Abbruzze, or that Brodin holds more value than Nylander

Minnesota declines this trade easily. Marcus foligno also holds more value than anything leafs would offer. I would respectfully suggest you do your research. Rasmus and nick who would be behind Minnesota top Winger prospect and top d prospects wouldn't get you brodin or foligno

Brodin is one of the best dman in the NHL and absolutely shutdown dman who McDavid struggles against. Rasmus wouldn't even make Minnesota's top 4d. Minnesota isn't trading a top shutdown dman under contract for years for a Winger they don't need and dman who was scratched in playoffs and seeking trade. Minnesota absolutely say no. Are you kidding?
