Iv known a few people who have recovered after hip shaving surgery (no they weren't pro athletes) but it is brutal to even get back to your normal self.

I honestly think they can treat this as though he is done for good because he won't come back the same ever again and hopefully he just chooses what's best for him to live a normal pain free life

I'd walk away at 8.8 but if it is Kuzy's AAV or a bit below then that would be great. Otherwise sign Trocheck or Strome for less. Good thing about any of these free agents is that they can move to wing if Backy comes back next year (I think he'll try but will struggle).

If Kadri's that expensive I think I'd rather take one of the ridiculous JT Miller proposals Canucks fans are making. Also, bringing back Schultz should be a fireable offense for MacLellan. Losing him is addition by subtraction.
