That would be a no from the Jackets. They need higher end RHD to play with Werenski if a defenseman is being traded. I saw the same trade yesterday with John Marino and I think the Jackets are more likely to make a deal for him.

I agree. 31 year old Doumolin who would be playing 3rd pairing behind Werenski and Gavrikov with 1 year left on his contract is definitely not the difference between pick #12 and #21.

Pretty much this. Marino instead of Dumoulin and it works, otherwise it doesn't.
