As a Flyer's fan this deal intrigues me. However, I really love Simmer, but I know how talented Drouin is and the ceiling is the roof for Ty Radish, plus a second round pick. Personally, I would remove Gudas and Jason Garrison, given that the cap would even out.

A TK/Giroux/Drouin line would be lethal, the speed and playmaking skill is unreal. I would probably entertain this idea for a while, then I would talk myself into it. I would do this deal. Yes.

Why bring back Boyle, there are much cheaper players that bring what he brings. 2 years of Wayne Simmonds till he is UFA and 3 years each of 2 defensive first defenseman for basically our entire young stable of top 6 forwards. I just don't see how those trades help the Lightning, to me if you trade Drouin its for a Parayko, Hanifin, Slavin type return which is young top 2 dman you can sign long term.

I second the jabroni above. I hate trading either Gudas or Simmer, but there is room for this to work. I would counter with Simmer for Drouin and Raddysh. I don't see the Flyers icing a nearly all rookie defense.

Taking Gudas out makes it a non starter for Tampa, reshaping the D is more important than a scoring winger. Drouin and Raddysh for a few years of "Simmer" doesn't play because they can find the scoring and the defensive help elsewhere.

Im probably over paying for Tanev. Maybe Killer and Pecs.

And bringing back Boyle because he's fun to watch.

I agree with above gudas probably doesn't make this happen. How about a counter of Hagg, Simmonds, 2017 2nd for Drouin/Raddysh? Save money by swapping Drouin/Simmer and we add an extra pick. Then Raddysh for hagg swap basically since Hagg is NHL ready now and can play the right side and Raddysh still needs time before the NHL. Seem fair?
