Description

Tkachuk trade - Calgary gets a bona fide middle six player signed at a reasonable term, a blue chip prospect in Neighbours who is from Calgary, two mid-tier prospects in Alexandrov and Zherenko plus a later first in a very deep draft as well as a second in 2024.

There's enough 1 year contracts to leave room for ROR and Kyrou next year, though we still may have to move Saad.

Krug almost certainly doesn't waive for Ottawa, but he could for another team who needs D, will be semi-competitive and has the cap.

I don't see why STL would retain on Krug. I think these deals are mostly fair but there's no way Kessel costs that much IMO.

Yea i think Vt get slightly more and krug wont be retained

Care to elaborate? Also Hotdog Phil is still a fantastic tertiary scoring threat. I had cap space after the trades so why not spend it on a proven scoring vet at only 1 year?

And yes, the trades are semi-optimistic though value-wise they are approximate.
