Muzzin to Anaheim makes sense for both teams. But I don't see Muzzin Waiving.

Interesting move for both teams really. TOR gets some serious cap relief this year and next, but ANA weaponizes their cap space to upgrade and add picks. Nice idea.

I like the two 2023 thirds, Muzzin will likely be a good chaperone for Drysdale.

Fowler and Klinberg can be our PP QBs with Drysdale as the third option getting picked from time to time to get his reps in.

Don't like Vaak getting pushed out, he needs the reps too, but with an injury or sending Holl on holiday for a week, can get his time on the ice too.

It leaves us with a pretty bad hole at right D for next season, and complicates the matters with our near NHL ready kids who all play left D for reasons unknown, but maybe we can flip one or both Muzzin Holl at the deadline with retention to solve that issue and find a veteran RD next off-season when half the league is a free agent.

I'd probably take it, but I'm addicted to 2023 2nd round picks. I'd also love to find a way to pry Robertson from Torontos grasp, him and McTavish on a line in a year or twos time would be so good to watch.

Shattenkirk will also be a FA after this year so he makes sense to me in a trade, maybe including salary retention on him is the difference between getting 2 3rds and getting a 2023 2nd back instead.

Toronto doesn't have their 2023 2nd. I might go riskier, Pick swap, Toronto 2023 1st and Ducks 2023 2nd going back the other way, get Shattenkirk on 50% retention, leaving Toronto with 5 million in cap space to do something with, half of which gets used to resign Sandin, the other half can be used at the deadline. Maybe Toronto needs a slight sweetener to the deal, a 4th round pick in 2023 or a depth player thrown back the other way with retention as well.
