I don’t think the sens would trade Brannstrom AND a second for Dillon even if they r getting a 3rd back. This seems like a situation where the best the jets would get is a second and that’s it because they don’t need another lefty d man.

I’m doubtful the Sens would make that deal but I’m personally not high on Brannstrom. I would rather have that bottom pairing. We are going to be fighting with Buffalo in particular to be the team that takes the biggest jump in the division. I’d rather have them trying to matchup with Thompson and Tuch than Brannstrom

Brannstrom might have more trade value than Dillon given his age and contract status. If ur gonna trade him you do it in a package for a good righty defenseman.

I really like Brannstrom but Idk where he'd fit on the Jets blueline, they're stocked full of smallish LHD and he probably has more value in another deal elsewhere.

If you want Dillon just make it a 2nd for him and eliminate the rest, the Jets could take Watson if necessary.

Personally though I think the Jets should keep Dillon if they're not blowing it up, he was pretty solid and they're defense is undersized as it is, losing Dillon just makes it that much smaller.

Spending big to do nothing to help the top 4 is a pretty terrible plan
