Alfredsson doesn't have the individual trophies that the Sedins had but his career as a whole was WAY more impressive than either.

Also not having Shane Doan dead last (ignoring recent expansion teams) is disrespectful to everyone below him. Crazy how long he played but he was never anything special.

If you read the description you will see why I put doan that high. Playing your entire career for one franchise is what boosts the yotes. I am also including how much they helped said team throughout their lifetime. Doan is now a member of the yotes front office. Do I think sakic is a better player than Richard and Howe? No. Do I think he did more for the Avs franchise than Richard and Howe did for their respective franchise? Hell yes. He captained their cup winning teams and was the GM of their most recent one. Yzerman has a strong argument for being the goat of Detroit I would argue. If he is able to form a dynasty in Detroit like he did in Tampa, he has a strong argument for detroits goat. Lemeuix is the ultimate example of contributing to a team. He was the arguably the best player for his time and signed a deal that gave him partial ownership of the team. Now he is a owner, he is able to have more of a say in hockey ops and he helped lead Pittsburgh to greatness in multiple decades. He lead them to success in 4 different decades with the organization. This circles back to the original point about including what said player did for their organization, not only in their career but also after their career. Doan is a worse player than everybody below him minus McCann, but what he did for hockey in arizona and the coyotes organization as a whole, he gets a major boost. That’s also why I have Sedin over alfredsson. What he did for hockey in Vancouver wasn’t rivaled by what alfredsson did imo. Now alfredsson is the better player don’t get me wrong, but what he did for the organization is unmatched. Both sedins are now in hockey ops in Vancouver while alfredsson took his shot at hockey ops and hasn’t worked with the team in 4 years. The players are ranked on their value to the organization, not skill and just playing career.
