Now red wings fan and wild fans don't get mad at me.

I just saw this in trade machine and I want to know your thoughts.

Here are my thoughts.

I don't think this is a fair trade. there both very good players.
This would help the wild with lack of center depth.
This would help Detroit's defense as well.


This would also wouldn't be very good for both teams because ones losing a pretty good forward and another one is losing one of there pretty good defense men.

There's good and bads to the trade, but it isn't very good. I don't it's very fair

1-for-1 MN takes it and runs. It's an awful trade for DET just on value.

It also does nothing to help DET in the future, where they should be getting a quality, young, team controlled players/pick; not a rental who walks after the season.

Agree with description. Larkin is likely looking at a 9m AAV deal next year, is a Michigan local and is team captain. I could never see this trade go through. Maybe you could get Larkin for Eriksson Ek + Wallstedt.

detroits got cossa doubt theyd be looking for wallstedt. both are untouchable for the wild anyways. this trade just cant happen

Wallstedt is tight! (Awkward pause .... ). Cossa + Wallstedt would be a scary set of goalies though.. Anyway, like you said, I think the only trade they would consider for Larkin is Kaprisov, and that one would Wilds NEVER agree to.
