If the Kings do the Winnipeg trade, they don't need to do the Toronto trade. Sandin isn't better than Edler right now.

you crazy? sandin is easily ahead of old man edler, no disrespect hes still quite good but sandin has shown a lot of promise for the future and for right now

Edler was one of the best defensemen on the Kings last season before he was injured. He's still got it. Still a top 4 guy.

Sandin might eventually turn into a quality defenseman, but he's not there yet.
