I went into this AGM expecting nothing and am leaving shocked at how realistic these do seem. Not sure if Nashville would be the destination for Dadonov, but knows.

Thank you for the feedback! I felt like nashville could be a good a good destination for him but do you see a better place?

-Drouin is a real wild card value-wise right now - he was scratched the first 2 games but looked okay the last 2. Which guy are you getting if you trade him? I could see this being the value, I could see the same deal without Montreal throwing in the extra sweetener if he starts playing better too. Real tough nut to crack.

-Probably need a third team to launder Monahan's contract, and possibly take an extra contract back from Vegas to make this work - the Knights are basically dollar in, dollar out in trades at this point. Monahan with double retention + Wideman's deal would equal $2,356,250 in cap going to the Knights; Carrier's deal is worth $1.4M so you basically gotta find an extra $1M to make it even. I don't see a fit here.

-Agree with the value, unsure on the fit - Dadonov with full retention gets a 3rd if he plays well, just not sure if the Preds are the team that pulls the trigger.

I have no interest in Drouin coming to Calgary for free. I'd be much more interested in Dadonov from a Flames perspective. I'd also much rather have Monahan back than Drouin.
