Description

1. Bite the bullet and buy out OEL.
2. NJD needs goaltending. Demko is elite - despite what the 22-23 stats are showing. Let VAN work with Blackwood and Martin while Silovs develops in the AHL.
3. Horvat can go; mgmt has committed to Miller, like it or not. His deal is much more moveable and helps support Nashville's FWD depth for now and the forseeable future.
4. Fire Pearson into the sun - Rutherford is not allergic to trading Pearson anyway.

As it stands, the Devils don't "need goaltending". We'll see if it holds up. I'm sure most Devils fans would have been all over this during the offseason though.
