Assuming that Montreal's first is top-3 protected, I must admit that I would accept that offer as the Los Angeles GM.

The value isn't bad, but the Kings aren't interested in acquiring draft picks right now. If they're going to trade away quality young prospects, they're going to want quality NHL-ready players in return.

Turcotte is realistically a season or two away from making an impact on the Kings, while an 11th overall pick is likely 4-5 years away from being helpful to the Kings (Vilardi was 11th overall in 2017, and is just starting to make a contribution to the Kings this season).

I don't see the Kings going for a trade like this.
