Leafs can't afford EK even at 5.75m, and same with Sens. Two big overpays by both teams. Aren't the Leafs better having Sandin at 1.4m and having 4.3m in cap, never mind all those futures?

Lmao that's nearly as much as Ottawa got for him in his prime. He's 32, even if he's having a monster season he's on the wrong side of 30, and it's not like his insane injury has just disappeared because he's playing insanely well. Ottawa doesn't do Karl for Sanderson straight up.
