Not saying this is possible (IIRC Trouba doesn't want to play in Canada)

Just curious to see how much fans from both sides would like or hate this trade

I also put back Norris, JBD and Zub in the lineup to see how it looks like when everyone is healthy

Rangers get a huge upgrade in the forward group, they also get rid of Trouba who is way overpaid. Hamonic is not as good but a decent stop gap for the rest of the year. He'd play behind Fox and Schneider so no biggie. DeBrincat is just 4 years older than Laf, they need to win now.

You’re trading a 24 year old 40 goal scorer. The second round pick most certainly isn’t the issue.

I understand but Lafreniere was a 1st OA pick just 2.5 years ago. Ottawa gambles on him

Trouba is overpaid but is a solid NHL player, would serve the Sens well (if that was possible)
