Description
Working on values but general idea …
Idk what kind of value Dumoulin would have for CHI at TDL, but he’s been playing better

Joseph’s term is risky and maybe Ottawa likes Kapanen’s shorter term

As Ottawa I accept. Joseph seems like the likely to be moved for a top 4 Dman next season and Kapanen with 1 year left would be easier to move imo

To CHI, Dumoulin is a pure TDL cap dump. Zero value. Also, he probably has CHI on his no trade list. So, best CHI could probably do on him is retain some salary in a 3-way trade if you can find a team that is interested in him as a rental at a reduced cap hit.

Is Joseph really that much better than Kap? I'm not trying to argue against it - just genuinely curious.

I mean he does a little more away from puck but also is less skilled….
I thk it’s more a change of scenery thing for both and he gets to play with his brother
