CBJ trade makes no sense. Deteoit trade could be better as well. Maybe Erne and Suter for Kapandn and Heinen. Detroit can also retain 50% on Sutter and we give a 2nd

Not sure of the reason for that Dumoulin trade from the Jackets' perspective. Yes, that's a skillset we need, but he'd be a rental and we're not looking for rentals right now - and he's 31, so getting a head start on signing him might not necessarily be a good thing.

Columbus trade is pretty self explanatory. Dumoulin is cooked and can't be on this team if it has serious hopes to compete.

Erne isn't needed. He's a low event 4th liner. Pens already have Poehling, Archibald, McGinn who fit that description.
