Jersey wouldn't do it without some kind of extension in place ... which Matthews isn't able to sign until the offseason. With an extension, Jersey would probably be all over it.

Leafs accept with something high end IMO.
Devils shouldn't. They have Bratt to resign with a bunch of young guns coming up as well, so they may not be able to afford Matthews extension
