Phillips will be on another AHL team with a difference organization, trading Markstrom would be crazy at this point plus he has a NMC, the Jets didn't move Hellebuyck last season when he was losing 19 of 34 starts before February, teams don't move on from Veizna calibre goaltenders during a bad season. Having Vladar and Wolf as a tandem leaves a TON of room for error, what if this is Vladar's career year like it was Markstrom's last year? Then he regresses to a back up goalie that is around .900 sv%?

I don't mind moving on from Toffoli if Coronoto can come in and look like a contributor, the other two guys are elite defensive players, this team will always have troubles finding scoring under Sutter, I don't think they're the two to move on from. Would be really tough to sign Hanifin and Lindholm the following year too.

There is absolutely no room for a 6 million dollar goalie in Ottawa.
