Description

Rutherford is such an overrated GM who got lucky in Pittsburgh and bailed when things got tough. After winning in Carolina, they were mediocre at best and poor for about a decade after. He didn't do anything to help the team, instead making the stupidest decision possible in re-signing Miller.

As for Rutherford, I won’t say he is the greatest GM, but he is one of the most loyal people I know, and Maurice’s second run in Carolina is very much proof of that. So I can safely say that Rutherford was almost certainly forced into firing Bruce by the Aqualinis, and more than likely Allvin as well. I would also take a bet that Rutherford isn’t really the one holding the keys to the car either.

TB is no way giving up a 2 and 3 for a 7th defenseman. Schenn isn't playing over Cernak, Perbix, or Bogosian. TB offers a 4 at best
