Try to get those guys out without any retention or bad contracts coming back even if its not a good return. Only exception would be Myers who could be valuable at half retained near the 2024 TDL.

I forgot to mention that Horvat could come with an extension of about 8x8 as part of the trade package.

I have Joe Veleno at 2x2 rn but I put that as a place holder as Im not sure what a deal would look like for him. Just let me know what your guys thoughts are.

The 24-25 will be some big decisions as Petterson, Rathbone, Podz, Rasmuessen, and Johanssen will all need extensions. This is why I am stressing the importance of getting at least two of the guys on the trade block outta there by then with no remaining ties.

There's no way Yzerman is trading both Rasmussen and Veleno, It's one or the other not both.

And JR said that he wants players coming off of their ELCs, So Veleno would make the most sense in that case.
