aren’t the wild kind of just treading water while they wait for the buyouts to lower and their prospects to develop? i feel like they’re in a decent spot long-term even if they’re mediocre right now

I doubt there is any world where Washington would deal a 2nd for a guy with 3 years on his deal and having scored a whole 6 points this year, especially when they already have plenty of capable depth options and Greenway doesn't bring more value than, say, Protas or Johansson or Sheary. That 2nd could be used for much more important needs.

As long as we could do that, this trade proposal seems reasonable- BUT- i think we’d want Foligno back, not Hartman
