Description

It looks like that the Sabres will be looking for a d-man at the deadline. I think Edmundson would be good d-man to pair with Lybushkin. Kodak is a C level prospect at best and the 5th and 6th could maybe get someone but it’s unlikely. Edmundson only has a one year left on his contract but I expect him to help Buffalo in their playoff push. Who do you think wins this trade?

Montreal fans have been insisting edmundson is getting a first for months. Even if they are wrong, I would think a 2nd plus something would be the best offer. Gms, not just the armchair kind, love physical d going into the playoffs.

Eddy likely doesn't get moved because of injury reasons but if he was healthy, the price for a second pairing dman with 75 playoff games is quite more than this shown here.
