Description
Saw a Dadonov/Myers suggestion and included Wideman for additional depth. I don't know why, but it just feels like a Tampa type move and he'll perform well there.

If Seattle is looking for a defensive faceoff center, Dvorak might be a candidate. Are they willing to pay?

Hoffman would be a plan C as a sniper to play with Seguin (heard they are looking for that?). I left off retention or conditions on the pick purposefully, but there's room for negotiation on either front.

Drouin to Minnesota is more of a money thing. Could be a good budget pickup and/or used as a part time C. Again, not a plan A option, but possibly better than doing nothing if they can't work out any other additions. Injection of skill into their middle 6 and PP.

JBB has on multiple occasions said any move TB makes will be to make them harder to play against that's not Dadanov's game.

Pretty easy no from the Wild. They also don't need to pay for retention either. They have plenty of cap space for a rental.

I can answer your question regarding Seattle: No, they won't be paying that price for Dvorak in my opinion. I doubt he has that much value anyway. Given Seattle's incredibly deep forward corps combined with struggles on faceoffs, finding a trade fit for them is tricky. I think that might just be an area of weakness they'll just have to live with.

Was kind of hoping he could be useful there and potentially re-sign after a successful run (obviously for much less than his current contract). Wanted to leave enough room for another addition.
Would Monahan for a conditional 2nd (assuming he remains healthy and plays the games), be more desirable? He may also be in a position to sign a 1 year "prove he can stay healthy" contract for cheap.

I don't see Montreal moving Dvorak for less than a 1st, mostly because he'll likely have that value in his final year as a rental with full retention anyway and serves a purpose in the meantime through the rebuild. It's also unlikely for Seattle to start moving 1sts so soon (unlike Vegas). Wanted to see how others felt about it though. We can likely afford to move Dvorak or Evans, but Evans doesn't provide any immediate help.
