I think Lafferty will be hated when he takes untimely penalties, moving out either Kampf or Kerfoot for him would probably be unwise. They added Acciari already don't really need to add him as well. If they can add him at a low cost without making a subtraction from the NHL roster, then so be it. The main focus now should be looking to make an add to the D-core, and waiting to see how the Leafs forwards fair in the next few 3 to 4 games before the deadline.

I don't think Kampf sits in the playoffs, or at all for that matter, he's too good defensively.

If the Leafs make this move they also move out Kerfoot in whatever package gets them an upgrade on Holl. Lafferty slides to the LW and Kampf Cs that line.

Kampf would not be the odd man out.

Kampf makes it in over Kerfoot, Jarnkrok, ZAR, Engvall and Lafferty. And that has zero disrespect to any of the players I mentioned.

He is basically our number 1 most valuable bottom 6 guy. Acciari's may be up there as well.

3rd for Lafferty is reasonable though. Leafs should consider.

just so you guys know i agree with all of you. i think a middle six winger that is able to finish would be better than getting cailiou
