Description

The Sharks have their first Jersey retirement ceremony on Saturday before the Chicago game for Patty Marleau. I'm thinking Grier would not want to make a major splash before that, they would take attention away from the ceremony. I'm thinking there won't be anything happening before that with exceptions being Bonino, Reimer and maybe if they're moving him, Barabanov.

Timo and Erik both played with Patty so I don't see them going anywhere before Saturday.

As an aside, I don't see Erik being moved at all before the deadline. Probably an offseason deal if at all.

If the two 1sts are really available like everyone thinks, it's really hard for Grier to say no. Add a couple of high ceiling low floor prospects and it's a very hard to beat deal. Not asking for Blues top level prospects like Neighbours or Snuggerud as the two firsts negate that. Really tough for anyone to beat this deal.
