I personally think this is an overpay for Ekholm as you're essentially trading 3 first rounders for him but I'm sure Nashville fans will be here shortly to tell you they demand several more pieces of much higher quality for their aging d man making over $6m.

Throw in EDM's 2023 3rd and NSH will make it 1.5 mil retained and give NSH's 2024 4th round and you got a deal.

Ceci isn’t a piece we are interested in, so he’s going to be considered a cap dump coming our way. We need at least two seconds or a first for us to trade Jensen or we’ll just re-sign him.
