That's an awful lot for Hayes. I get that gms love guys like him come playoff time, that's way too much for us though

Specially since we already have two Centermen who will be making that kind of money next year, I doubt they add another guy making that much down the middle. You also wouldn’t bring this guy in and use him on the wing. He’s a pretty good player, but I don’t think he really fits what Buffalo is looking for.

True, and for all the complaining people do about Mittelstadt, he has similar numbers (minus goals), is younger, and less expensive.
