I really like the trades and the 8 year deal with York seems like a real Chuck Fletcher move. I would give him a shorter 2-3 year deal.

He's one guy I actually do hope they give a long deal to. I think people have generally underrated the start to his career, he can be a top-pair in this league for a long time if everything pans out right IMO

I like this for CBJ, though we'd probably move the '23 2nd to a '24 2nd. Particularly since you guys are getting Rosy. I'd also be happy to add Bemstrom and/or Foudy, who painfully need a change of scenery.

Jackets should stay far away from Hayes as possible. But if the Jackets did trade for him, the Flyers would have to eat 50% of his salary. No way the take him at anywhere near that price much less give up assets for him.

I disagree 100% on this. His injuries, he is going on the wrong side of 30, and his cap hit are ridiculously bad for the Jackets in the future. If we do win the lottery there is no place or need for Hayes.
