Need to give up a serious asset to move up 9 spots in the first round, especially if its into top 10 and its the Flyers pick. Probably have to give up yours or Bostons first rounder in 2024, and one or two 2nd round picks. Not two 3rds which is what Sebrango and Hanas are.

If you get Bedard then hell don't give up more assets for michkov take Reinbacker or trade those assets for a help now player and get a winger for Bedard right away. No need to wait 4 years for the Russian at that point.

LOL Philly is currently in the 8th spot, The odds of them landing Bedard is practically nill. So Detroit passes. 2 should have depending on the Isles pick 2 very good players with out 1st and the Islanders 1st.

If we got Bedard I'd be overjoyed. But the trade up for the Philly pick is no where near realistic. It would be the NYI pick + Marco Kaspar at least to make that work. Not worth it. There will be a ton of good prospects available with the NYI pick. Keep the pick. Keep our assets.
