You’re not getting that much for Troy Terry. He’s a good player, but that’s a top 10 pick and a high second rounder in a very deep draft. It’s far more likely you get both Buffalo’s high second round picks with Olofsson, they keep the first.

Then find another sucker who will give you a top 10 pick because Buffalo isn’t it. The pick alone is worth more than he is. He’s about to be a $6 million man. Anaheim has already squandered his value years.

OK, I misread the year on the second rounder. But Ottawa and Detroit should both be passing Buffalo in the standings before the end of this season, unless Devon Levi plays most of the rest of the games and is incredible doing it. That would put their pick in the top 10.
