Description

Lets say rangers want to resign Kane and Tarasanko.... Assume each get 7 mil per season, that leaves them with only like 3 or 4 million left (And still have to sign Chityl, Laf and Miller + a backup goalie)

MTL should try to utilize flordia's 1st round pick to snag one of them off the rangers. Im going to assume MTL is interested in Laf as he is a quebec born player, so using him in this example.

I would like to upgrade D or G, but honestly not sure MTL will do that yet

Can't see Kane or Taresenko getting $7M at this stage in their careers, and even so I can't see the Rangers choosing to sign them if it means jeopardizing their ability to sign their younger core guys.

There's not a shot in hell the Rangers re-sign both Kane & Tarasenko at 7 each. Hell i'd say there's not a shot they'd sign either one of them at that price. Therefore, there's no chance the Rangers make that trade either, short of Florida's pick winning the lottery
