Description
Calgary needs some energy in their line up and a Coach that doesn't crush their spirits. Is Alain Vigneault available? Should Coronato nor sign this offseason, I would suggest trading him for another winger.

Additional Details:
Calgary boy for Toronto boy. I'm assuming the Leaf's will renew Matthews which leaves less room for Nylander. Mangiapane will excel with better playmakers (and no sutter) in Toronto, returning to last year's numbers. He is still under team control for an additional year.

Buffalo really isn’t interested in giving up their first round pick this year. I’m guessing you’ll say that without it, you wouldn’t make the deal. Weegar may be better than Jokiharju, and Toffoli would be a nice pick up for Buffalo, but I don’t think they are worth that much. Buffalo would be losing a lot of salary flexibility, which they’re going to need in the next couple years.

I think Buffalo is the most primed of all rebuilding teams to make a run for the cup. They need an upgrade in net, and some stable veterans that can still produce. Cap space is only really an issue for the next year, or two for most teams. Even with Thompson and Cousins extensions they have tons of cap next year and a 4MM increase in cap the following year. I could see them running deep next year.

You're gonna need to go back to the drawing board for that nylander trade.
Not a chance lmao. It's not even close. Makes zero sense and the leafs are haemorrhaging value

Cherry picking here, both statements are true.
While older the difference between Toffoli/Weager and Jokiharju/Mittelstadt if probably more than a 10th OA in this years draft.
Buffalo would still pass.
