I highly doubt that they would go with a 21 year old that will only get a handful of games. Sure they could go vet or they could go with Sandstrom

I think Jets would be fine with that; draft picks are likely an even more precious commodity to Winnipeg very soon, but it's only a 4th and fair to anticipate they'll add picks a plenty with big names in their final years, etc.

While Driedger wouldn't fetch much in trade, I don't think Seattle should (or would) "pay" a team to take his last season. Driedger is coming off of surgery. Sure he had a disappointing 1st season with Seattle last year, but because Francis committed to him so early, Driedger will be given another shot, IMO. I mean, Jones is gone and all he has to do is outplay Grubauer, which shouldn't be an issue if the last 2 seasons are any indicator!

Yeah that 26 yo with 2-3 handfuls of NHL games with bad bad results is better. A guy you have to give an asset for yeah no thanks. Bhahahahahahaha
