I think Jets would be fine with that; draft picks are likely an even more precious commodity to Winnipeg very soon, but it's only a 4th and fair to anticipate they'll add picks a plenty with big names in their final years, etc.

While Driedger wouldn't fetch much in trade, I don't think Seattle should (or would) "pay" a team to take his last season. Driedger is coming off of surgery. Sure he had a disappointing 1st season with Seattle last year, but because Francis committed to him so early, Driedger will be given another shot, IMO. I mean, Jones is gone and all he has to do is outplay Grubauer, which shouldn't be an issue if the last 2 seasons are any indicator!

At $6.75M the Kings could just reup Gavrikov and give up no assets. I don't know why Provorov to LA is pitched here so often, the Kings have a known commodity with Gavrikov and he actually dressed for pride night.

FIrst off, it was a joke. Second, You don't sit a 21 year old on the bench for 90% of the year when he could play 30+ games in the AHL...bad for development. Third, you do know that Sandstrom plays for one of the worst teams in the league right? He also has similar numbers to Elliott. Acting like a 26 year old goalie is washed shows your lack of knowledge.

Gavrikov has been fantastic on the Kings so far, putting up better metrics than Chychrun and Ekholm. So not factual so far for his experience so far with the Kings.

Good for him, he's played like 10 games. Provorov is a 1st pairing D man and has been for basically his entire career. Sure he can't carry the pair but with a good D partner, his ceiling is very high.

20- 25 games a year being around Vasilevskiy learning how he prepared. Could be really valuable.
