The team isn't any better imo, really I think it takes a few steps back. Trading Garland for nothing is a very unwise move. We don't need to mvoe cap that desperately.

I doubt any team would want Miller now since they missed their opportunity at last year's trade deadline. Also, his contract won't age well.

(1) If the Canucks need cap space that desperately, why is he retaining on Boeser?
(2) If the Canucks need cap space that desperately, why is there almost $4.9 million of it here?
